Texas - The Lone Star State

Well, we landed at a reasonable hour and got through immigration without incident! Our bags arrived fairly quickly and were not jingly as though full of broken glass so you never know.
We walked out to arrivals to meet the Archers taxi driver and were driven home. While we'd have liked to have done Galveston and made it all Texas, rather than going to New Orleans (as we'd been before) but we did have a fun time in Louisiana.
I would totally recommend the tour and am looking forward to the next one - Route 66 - coming soon!
Oh, and yes, all the glasses made it home safely!
