Welcome to the #DuffysHug Clothes and Other Stuff "Adoption" Page (following on from the Stuffie Adoption Page). You probably know @IamDuffyBear's Mommy/Human Sandra Barbato was lost recently to Cancer. Lillian Brabner (@IcyPinkLemonade) and TourGuideTed (@TourGuideTed) with Diane Gorton promised Sandra we'd take care of her Duffy the Disney Bear Collection. We now have the rest of the collection, over 500 new and used items of Teddy Bear / Stuffie clothing as well as other Duffy and Friends, Disney and other random nick-nacks that you just might be interested in rehoming.
WHAT TO DO - PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW!!!!
1. Look through the web page, make a note of the numbers you would like
2. Sort your list in order (if 2 or 12 want an item we will use this to help decide who it goes to)
3. Be as greedy as you like, the Duffy stuff will be very popular, the new stuff will be popular, can you use some of the rest?
4. MESSAGE YOUR LIST TO ME, @TourGuideTed or Lillian @icypinklemonade on Twitter or Facebook (preferred) but also Bluesky, Threads, Instagram - IF YOU DO NOT GET A RESPONSE AFTER 48 HOURS GIVE US A NUDGE. SILENCE IS NOT GOOD NEWS! WE MAY MISS YOUR REQUESTS SO KICK US ON LIVE SOCIAL MEDIA
PLEASE SEND YOUR LISTS BY END OF WEDNESDAY 1ST JAN 2025 FOR BEST CHANCE, AFTER THAT WE MAY HAVE STARTED ALLOCATING ALREADY!!
5. BE AWARE - You may not get your first, second, third choice - we'll aim to be as fair as we can, but mistakes WILL be made (sorry!)
6. WE DON'T WANT PAYMENT FOR THE ITEMS (unless stated) BUT POSTAGE IS LIKELY TO BE APPROX £5 UK (If you already have a package waiting to send these items will be added and postage will NOT increase!) We will ship to other countries too, just get in touch. Money does not need to be paid until we are ready to ship (or more likely after we've shipped but whatevs)
We do have some funds left over from the stuffie drive so if you can't afford to pay for shipping let us know and we can cover it.
Please note! - These items belonged to a beloved friend of ours. We hope and intend for most of these items to go to people who want to add them to their own hugs. To love them as Sandra and Duffy did. We would ask if your goal is to just flip these items on eBay or elsewhere you do not apply.
