Do you love dinosaurs? The thrill of the hunt, their imposing stature, or just learning about their existence? Well if you're looking for dino-hunting in Florida, then Dinosaur World in Plant City, Florida is the place to be.

Dinosaur World offers fun for families, kids, adults, groups, and even furry friends. The cost of admission is reasonable ($14.95 adults, $11.95 children plus tax, as at September 2013). This allows you to meander through the Dinosaur Jungle Walk, to enjoy activities such as digging through the boneyard, playing in the playground or going walking through the museum. For a small additional fee they have other fun activities such as gem and fossil excavations and feeding the massive fish in the dino pond.

The park has 12 acres of a dino jungle for you to get lost in. Some of the stranger sights include a carnivore board walk where you can see dinos in their natural state of carnivorous behavior. Some of these sights may not be suitable for everyone but added to the originality of the park.

To top it all off, they have a massive gift shop with everything you can imagine dino related and other specialty gifts like real alligator heads, massive geodes and jewelry for the ladies. Whatever your fancy, this gift shop has something for everyone.

I went on a thrilling dino hunt adventure where I went dino riding, walked with triceratops, was almost eaten alive by T-Rex, saw dinos attacking dinos, and went on a fossil dig where I discovered bones of an unknown species!

Check out some of the amazing Dinosaur World photos and if you are in Plant City and you're on a dino hunt, Dinosaur World is the place to go.

TourGuideTed sent me, as his proxy, and I rated this as a three Ted location. All around, it's better than your average adventure with great photo ops, and it has fair admission fees.
